East Vincent Township crews were called in to remove the tree and reopen the road. 62 Fire Police detoured traffic around the area. Lieutenant 62 quickly arrived and determined that there were no electrical wires down. Just before 5pm as a strong thunderstorm moved through the area, Station 62 was dispatched to the area of West Seven Stars Road and Heritage Drive for trees and wires down. MICU 83-4 evaluated the vehicle occupants. Rescue 62, Engine 62-1, and Utility 62-1 arrived and assisted with debris removal. Chief 62 arrived to find a two vehicle accident with both vehicles off of the roadway. (Full Story & Photos)Īt approximately 4pm Station 62 along with MICU 83-4 (Friendship EMS of Royersford) were dispatched to the area of Route 23 and Bertolet School Road for an auto accident. Station 64 (Norco) and Ambulance 84-2 (Goodwill) were then added to the assignment. Chester County Fire Radio received another call reporting a house on fire on the 500 block of Kulp Road. (Full Story & Photos)Īt approximately 5:15pm Station 62, was dispatched to the area of Kulp Road and Harley Road in East Coventry Township for a fire type unknown, caller reporting large flames in the area. Crews enjoyed a great show and returned back to. Engine 62-5 staged in the Lowes parking lot. Engine 62-5 was released just before 8PM and just in time to get back into the area to assist Station 64 (Norco) with their annual fireworks display. Just before 5:30PM, Engine 62-5 was requested to relocate to Berks County Station 6 (Monarch Fire Company) while they battled a barn fire in Amity Township. So, two members of Ridge Fire Company went over and did short presentation on what they would see if one of the Home Town, regular people, came out to rescue them from a burning building, vehicle accident, etc. Today they wanted to highlight Home Town, regular people, heroes! The theme for this years Brownback's Church VBS was Super Heroes. Members of Ridge Fire Police assisted Kimberton Fire Company with parking and traffic control for their annual fair and enjoyed a wonderful fireworks display despite the thunderstorm in the area. They also were able. They got the hear about things to do and not do during a fire emergency. There were 12 kids and 6 older kids (adults)!! On Thursday August 10th, 2023 3 Ridge Firefighters went to a local Daycare and did a Fire Safety Talk! Utility 62-1 arrived on the scene and assisted. Rescue 62 opened the door utilizing hydraulic tools, while 62 Fire Police detoured traffic. Rescue 62 arrived with a three vehicle accident, with a patient confined in one vehicle. Just after 3:15PM Station 62 along with Medic 329-3 (Goodwill) were dispatched to the area of Linfield Road and 724 for an accident with entrapment.
